1. Can you perform body modifications, painting, or transmission tune-ups?
Unfortunately, we can’t offer those services at this time, but we do specialize in exhaust, brake, and tire services so that we can be your one-stop maintenance destination.
2. I'm no auto expert, how do I know what I need to check and when?

5. Do you have after-hours drop-off services?
Sometimes auto repair needs arise long after most auto repair shops have closed (most auto repair shops close at 6 p.m.). Terry’s Auto Service offers the flexibility of a 24-hour key drop box that allows customers to bring their vehicles in according to their own schedule. With after-hours drop-off services, you leave your car at the mechanics’ shop for repair even if the shop has closed. You simply fill out an envelope, put your keys in it, and drop it in a dropbox.
We will contact you when your car is ready or when they need additional information. At Terry’s Auto Service, we value your convenience, and that is why we offer after-hours drop-off services. Even if we are closed, you can just drop off your vehicle at our shop, and our mechanics will work on it and contact you when it is ready.
6. Why is it better to have routine maintenance done at a car repair shop rather than at a quick lube sort of facility?
The employees at franchised facilities are often trained to strictly do oil changes. 7. Does my coolant really need to be changed periodically?
Yes. When coolant ages, it becomes acidic. This can create problems when the acid starts to eat away at your gaskets and seals.
8. Why is it so important to change fuel filters?
When fuel filters plug up, even a little bit, it makes your fuel pump work harder, causing it to overheat and fail. On newer cars, fuel pumps can easily cost $500 to even $1000 to replace. Keep ’em clean!
9. Do you tow vehicles?
Yes, we have a towing service and can get you off the side of the street and into our repair shop quickly.
10. How often should I get my car tuned up?
Every car is different, and you should consult your owner’s manual to answer this. That said, most cars require a tune-up approximately once every 60,000 miles.
11. Can you look over the car that I am looking to purchase to make sure that it is mechanically sound?
